The Gruha Lakshmi Scheme



 In Karnataka is a government initiative aimed at providing financial assistance to women who are the head of their households. The scheme aims to empower women and improve their livelihood by providing them with a monthly financial support of Rs. 2,000. Here are some key details about the scheme:


Eligibility for the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme:


The women should belong to Antyodaya, BPL (Below Poverty Line), and APL (Above Poverty Line) families.

The women must be identified as the head of the family in the Antyodaya, BPL, and APL ration cards issued by the government.

Only one woman in a family is eligible to receive the benefits of the scheme.

Women who are government employees or taxpayers are not eligible for the scheme's benefits.

If the husband of the woman who is the head of the family is paying income tax or filing GST returns, the women of that family will not be eligible for the scheme's benefits.


How to apply online for the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme:


Registration for the scheme will be open from 15 June to 15 July 2023.

Eligible women can register for the scheme by visiting the Seva Sindhu Portal.

Login using the email ID and OTP received on the email.

If you are a first-time user, click on the "New user? Register here" button and enter your Aadhaar number and other required details to create an account.

After logging in, search for "Gruha Lakshmi Yojana" on the search bar (this option will be available from 15 June).

Fill in the required information and upload the necessary documents.

Submit the application form and make a note of the application number for future reference.

Once a woman applies for the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme, she can check the status of her application on the official website of the Karnataka Government. The beneficiary list for the scheme will be released on the official website after 15 July 2023.
